Provisional results
Provision results show Mr. Ayacko of ODM party is leading with a large margin ahead of his close competitor.

Results from 42 polling stations last night showed he had 40,164 votes while his closest challenger Eddy Oketch had 15,660.

The county has 826 polling station.

Kuria West constituency
Results from 21 polling stations out of 80
Ayacko 1,268, Oketch 370, Otieno 25, Jobando 20, Ogolla 14.

Suna East constituency
The tallying centre has 46,536 registered voters
Ayacko was leading with 3,043 votes followed by Mr Oketch with 1,960. Peter Jobando got 18, Ogola 12

Suna West constituency
Results from 57 polling stations out of 88
Ochillo 9,555 and Oketch 5,385 votes.

Kuria West constituency
Results from 23 polling stations
Ayacko 1,112, Oketch 770 votes

Mr Ayacko’s supporters are already celebrating before the release of final and official results.

The mini-poll, however, was dogged by claims of bribery.

Eddy Oketch, a Federal Party of Kenya candidate in the by-election, claimed ODM leaders were intimidating his supporters and said he had reported the matter to the police.

It registered a low voter turnout.
Migori County has about 388,000 registered voters.

It will be a lead for Raila and his ODM brigade if Ayacko leads the poll.
