Senior KRA, KPA officials arrested over contraband goods

Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives on Saturday arrested 32 top officials from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) over corruption allegations.

They are being grilled over allegations of allowing contraband and contaminated goods into the country.

The official charges were yet to be made public.

The officials are currently being held in custody at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters in Nairobi.
