Amani National Congress(ANC) Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack three Cabinet Secretaries over failure to deliver in their dockets.

According Mudavadi, Uhuru should do away with Festus Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture), Charles Keter (Energy), and Henry Rotich (National Treasury).

Mudavadi alleged that the three hold very important dockets yet their tenure has been riddled with corruption which has seen many Kenyans suffer.

Adding that the trio does not deserve their positions, the ANC leader also asked the president to reassess his team.

“You know sometime back, I talked to President Uhuru and told him we used to say ‘ nasa hawa (nab them)’, but on this one, my clarion call to him is ‘furusha hawa (sack them)’ .

“That speaks volumes… When I say furusha hawa , I mean some of them do not deserve to be in office.

Mudavadi also asked the youth to examine leaders thoroughly before electing them terming the current crop of leaders as a disgrace .

He was speaking while attending a Sunday service at the Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) church in Nairobi’s Buruburu Estate where he equally opined that the nation must re-evaluate itself and encourage honesty and hardwork.

Mudavadi also proposed that a Judicial Commission of Inquiry should be formed to look into the issues affecting the maize and sugar sector.

“In a commission of inquiry, people can be summoned to give evidence and in the event that they give false information, they can be prosecuted and go to jail,” he argued.

Opposing the formation of a task force to handle the matter, Mudavadi added, “Setting up a task force with the same people suspected to have been involved in the trade is unacceptable.”

“We are taking farmers in circles. Again, we have so many reports that have not even been implemented,” Mudavadi quipped.
