A section of Kenyans in Canada have urged the government to establish Government-Diaspora Partnership Projects that will see them invest in Kenya.
In a Saturday meeting at Hamilton Visitors Inn, Toronto, with Uasin Gishu Senator Pro. Margaret Kamar the group want the government to forge a diaspora partnership project where services provided can match their diaspora work ethic while promoting job creation in Kenya.
The group proposed projects like Seniors homes, banking institution and construction projects where they can invest their income for good cause.
Some mentioned that micro managing projects in Kenya is a serious issues but can be well improved with the support of Kenyan-Canada partnership.

The Senator praised the Diaspora community for their relentless support for Global Resource Foundation which natures talented youths from poor families in Kenya and also assist them in finding scholarships in the USA.
Senator Kamar said she is working with local businesses and well wishers to fund raise for children who have talents and their families can not afford college or universities tuition.
She said plans are underway to create camps where those youth can benefit from.
Also present was Pauline Wangari, the President of Kenya Community Ontario Women Forum. Wangari praised the Senator for taking time to listen to Kenyans. She invited all Kenyans to the Heart Lake Run is a 3K Walkathon charity fundraiser for food banks in Ontario held in Brampton, Ontario. The event focuses on Food Security, Environment Conservation and Climate Action which are part of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Queens Night
In another function, Apostle Teresia Njega was the special guest at the Queens Night congregation meeting held at the city of Mississauga courtesy of Pastor Joan Wairimu.
Also present were Pastor Eunice Magira, among many others.
